In the Pre-activity I saw when I moved the wire and the battery the direction of the compass changed. I also noticed that the compass pointed north to the south pole of the battery. The magnetic fore of the battery was not strong enough for the compass to find the north.

In the main activity, we has to take a cable and tangle it spinning the cable thorough a nail, then we had to pick up paper clips with the nail. This chart represents how we did in this experiment. At first we increased the numbers of turns; we did this because every time we did a turn the electromagnet became stronger and powerful because of the high current and the less voltage.
